Keira Knightley has treated her husband to a £40,000 Rolex watch.
The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star presented the lavish gift to James Righton as a 30th birthday present while they partied with friends in a London pub at the weekend.
A source told The Sun newspaper: ''Keira wanted to buy something special. James is not materialistic but a Rolex is not something to be sniffed at. He loves it and was really touched.''
Despite the flashy present, Keira is not a show off when it comes to money. She wed Klaxons keyboard player James in May at a small ceremony in the south of France, with just 11 guests at the wedding and 50 at the reception. Keira wore an old designer dress as her wedding gown rather than buying a new one and the pair then headed off to the nearby island of Corsica for their honeymoon.
It was also recently revealed despite earning £1.5million from starring in films and fashion deals in 2012, Keira only paid herself £30,000 through her company, Kck Boo Ltd.
A source said at the time: ''Keira took home £20,000 in dividends from the company in 2012 and a salary of £11,000.
''Her biggest expenditure put through the books was £41,000 on security but she spent little else.
''Her travel costs were just over £4,000 and the accounts also show that she did not shell out a penny on clothes and make-up.''
