It's an art form that uses the naked body as a blank canvas. For the 16th annual World Bodypainting Festival in Austria, artists from 40 countries gathered in the picturesque, lakeside town of Portschachto to explore the theme of 'Planet Food.'

Using the curves and silhouettes of the human body -- male and female -- some of the world's best body painters and make-up and special effects artists unleashed their imaginations and turned people into walking, breathing art installations.
